Embrace a Family matches
the time and talents of volunteers
with the needs of the single mom.


Single moms work hard to support themselves and their families. They face the daily stresses of job, household, nutrition, nurturing and finding relaxation for themselves. Many of them have the extra challenges of low income, a hostile or non-supportive relationship with the father and lack of a local extended family.

Our goal is to provide them with tangible assistance in the areas of need which they have defined.

I am a single parent and need assistance. Please direct me to some other organizations that might be able to help.

Lighted Christmas Glass Blocks

Rectagles are 8"x 6"and 3" deep   Squares are 6"x 6"x 3"

Either size may be ordered with gold or Christmas plaid ribbon. In addition to being great Christmas gifts or decorations, they can be used as nightlights, bookends and subtle lighting for patios and porches.  Ribbon can be changed to make them suitable for babies' rooms, other seasons and holidays or to match your decor.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like to purchase a lighted glass block.  Each block is $20.00 and $10.00 of your purchase price is a direct donation to Embrace A Family.
